Conference Objecties:
- To acknowledge the expertise of parents and young people who have health care issues and learn from such knowledge
- To identify ways in which the conference debate may inform practice change in partnership with professionals. To involve health care professionals in shaping parent, child and young person engagement/involvement in the future.
- To build upon the opportunities for partnership contained within the ‘Framework for Children and Young People’s health in Scotland.'

This workshop explores what it means to be an expert parent or as is often preferred an involved parent, looks at some of the topics covered in the EPP course and the benefits this can bring to the management of your child's condition.
